genie francis is back on 'general hospital'. finally. each time ms francis was written off the show it lost something. perhaps it's heart. we were teased with 'special appearances' every now and then. one of those appearances actually, finally, won her an emmy award. from what i hear she is now back on contract and hopefully for a long long time. welcome home genie.

'What If Sonny Corinthos Met Erica Kane

maurice benard is one of day-times best actors. as sonny corinthos (general hospital) he plays the mafia boss with a heart of gold. in this 'waht if' he is paired with one of day-times biggest personalities susan lucci. and a personality she may be but an actress she is not. no hate mail please. it's just my opinion. because of her overacting and that her character still acts like she's 16 years old as an absurd 50 something is one of the main reasons i gave up on 'all my children' a decade ago.

julie berman is a marvel as lulu spencer daughter of luke and laura spencer on 'general hospital'...and in reality she is a perfect physical and temperamental  match as genie frances's daughter. she has won this 'best younger actress award' before and deservedly. but folks at 'general hospital' and abc it is time to move julie into the supporting category. in case you haven't noticed she has grown into a woman and holds her own with the best of them.
