kerry washington and her alter ego olivia pope are kicking butt on 'scandal'. she graces the cover of 'elle' this month as the second season of her hit series comes to an end. it's not officially renewed but there's not a chance in hell it won't be.

i love 'scandal'. actually it is one of the best of tv. guillermo diaz as huck is amazing. he deserves an emmy nomination (supporting actor) for his work here. the powers that be had best submit the episode 'seven: fifty-two' that shows how brilliant and versatile he is as an actor. he has my vote.

the fastest freshest show on network tv. in it's sophmore season it holds up to it's much too abbreviated freshman run. the cast is terrific. the writing is crisp. and it's lead kerri washington is just great. and she wears clothes better than anyone on tv currently. sorry julianna. if you are not watching thhis show you are missing a high velocity drama.

kevin bacon heads the cast of this serial killer drama. he, natalie zea and the rest of the cast keeps us spellbound week after week as it tosses and turns through our minds. gruesome? who cares. it's that damn good.

norma and norma. god help us all and anyone who visits this hotel. i won't check in but i am damn sure going to keep watching.

vera farmiga, i love this actress, and freddie highmore shine as the creepiest mother and son on tv. i'm loving it.

some new series have been unveiled. here's how they rate.

'scandal' has the most promise. the pilot set up what was coming in a fast paced manner. kerry washington is a sheer delight. it worked. give it a shot. i'm going out on a limb and giving it an 'A'. now we wait and see if it can hold onto it. and that answer may come very soon on abc. it's from shondra rhymes of  'grey's anatomy' fame and it is time for that one to go. it's worn out it's welcome.

'gcb', those good christian bitches, started off slow and let's be honest deadly dull. i am not sure why i kept going back. but since i did i have to say it improved. what would have been a D+ now gets a C+. it's up to them. leslie bibb as amanda is a charmer and coupled with eric winter (luke) may be able to keep it afloat. a standout for me is marisol nichols as heather cruz who befriends amanda while the other bitches just try to up each other in nastiness. that all need to calm down a bit.

'The Client List' started out strong. ms hewitt is as always likeable. loretta devine steals every scene she is in. it's not as slimy as i thought it would be. but who knows. right now it gets a B. time will tell.
