This blog gives a look into the eternal sunshine of my ever roving mind. I consider myself a social critic. I believe in Film, Music, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Gay Rights, the Right to Choose, Human Rights and YES I still believe in Barack Obama. I believe in most things left of center. I don't get any organized religion. They are all a sham. This is the gay pride flag. I am proudly gay. These are the things this blog is about. Love it, like it or leave it. We all have choices.

The Beginning of the End
'the closer' begins it's final season tonight. only six episodes to go. and then brenda lee johnson will say goodbye. i will miss her. the wonderful kyra sedgwick created one of tv's best characters. quirks and all. but i thank her for six great seasons in the major crimes unit. kyra and her alter-ego will be sorely missed.
but alas when the final episode finishes we will go right into 'major crimes' starring mary mcdonnell as the probably, possibly, quirkier captain sharon raydor and most of 'the closer' cast with additions. i want this to work. ms. mcdonnell's work and character on 'the closer' grew on me. i hope this 'sequel' succeeds.

Kyra Closing Shop
kyra sedgwick has decided to make the next season the final season of 'the closer'. after 7 seasons i'm really going to hate saying goodbye to brenda lee johnson. i suppose kyra's decision is too have the hit tnt series go out while it's still on top of it's game. all the same i'm going to miss one of the best ensmble casts on tv.

My Emmy Score Card
i got aaron paul, byran cranston, edie falco, archie panjabi and jane lynch.
after 5 noms kyra sedgwick finally won for her brilliant brenda lee johnson on 'the closer' so i had no problems losing that one. julianna will be up there soon enough.
hate that 'glee' didn't win but another show with good gay characters, modern family' winning is a plus.
but why doesn't the academy see that matthew morrison can do EVERYTHING!
