This blog gives a look into the eternal sunshine of my ever roving mind. I consider myself a social critic. I believe in Film, Music, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Gay Rights, the Right to Choose, Human Rights and YES I still believe in Barack Obama. I believe in most things left of center. I don't get any organized religion. They are all a sham. This is the gay pride flag. I am proudly gay. These are the things this blog is about. Love it, like it or leave it. We all have choices.

Sandra: A Few More
Sandra Makes Surprise Appearance
CULVER CITY, Calif. — Spike TV says Sandra Bullock has made a surprise appearance at its "Guys Choice" event in Culver City.
Spike says Bullock received a standing ovation from the audience Saturday night at Sony Pictures Studios when she accepted the "Troops Choice" Award for Entertainer of The Year, from presenter Robert Downey, Jr. The award was voted on by members of the military.
The 45-year-old actress has kept a low profile since her public split from husband Jesse James after she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in "The Blind Side" earlier this year.
Bullock is also set to appear Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards where she is to receive the Generation Award.
Spike's "Guys Choice" will air on June 20.
On DVD and BluRay: 'Alice in Wonderland' Rates *1/2 stars
can't say i'm sorry i missed this in a theater...not tim burton's best that's for sure (edward scissorhands) or his worst (charlie and the chocolate factory). it is mediocre at best. the whole thing is stolen by helena bonham carter as the red queen. and trust me i was rooting for her over the gothed up white queen destroyed by another awful and bizarre can't be called acting job by the terrible anne hathaway. she is a disaster on film. can no one find this woman a desk job?
be forewarned: avoid this one.

'Agora'
Agora is a stunning masterpiece directed by Spanish-Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar (Open Your Eyes, Butterfly Tongues, The Others, The Sea Inside). The screenplay was co-written by Amenábar and his writing partner Mateo Gil (Open Your Eyes, Vanilla Sky, The Sea Inside). Amenábar says that he wants audiences "to see, feel and smell a remote civilization as if it were as real as today." Watching this trailer, I can say it feels and smells like that civilization being the Egyptians of 4th Century AD. Ironically, Agora is still looking for a US distributor and doesn't have a release date, but will be playing at the Toronto Film Festival.
