Hall of Fame: The Introduction: The Late Great Natalie Wood: 7/20/38 - 11/29/81

PART 1

Natalie was born at the right time but passed much to soon.
Nat was a beauty. A pretty girl who grew into one of Hollywood's most beautiful stars.
Nat was a good actress also. Not a great actress but talented enough to seduce us and the camera that loved her.
However, she really gave five great performances despite some of her limitations. Two on the big screen, "West Side Story", "Gypsy" and "Love with the Proper Stranger". Two were on the small screen which were remakes of "From Here to Eternity" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".
So I present Natalie. She was and remains one of my favorites.
Her untimely death did not give her the chance to do more and better work. She blossomed as an adult actress but the bloom was cut off too soon.
